ROGER is a designmagazine that is not business that usual: we are not full of slick design examples that are in parts funded by so called »advertorials« (beautifully placed products with positive descriptions that are meant to animate sales). ROGER is rather interested in the imperfect: in the processes that are happening in design – or as Malcolm McLaren puts it – in »the messy process of creativity«!

Let’s be honest: aren’t you tired of those ready-made interiors, the perfect looking product designs and the beautiful illustrations? What’s all behind it? Do you want to copy it? Or is your goal to produce something completely new? That’s why ROGER thinks you don’t need another magazine that is showing you that over-designed shit. We want to give you inspiration that derives from the things you don’t see on the surface – because »design is invisible« (Lucius Burckhardt).
